The Talented Tenth is a professional development event catered to minorities in their respective market's high schools to prepare them for their collegiate endeavors. To date, they have raised $500 as well as donations of 40 books (Thanks to Nicole Powell | Events Manager | Sports Writer), ties for attendees and $200 worth of refreshments.
