The Basketball Tournament
Metro Trusts Us will be the Minorities in Sports’ squad in The Basketball Tournament. We are playing to raise funds for the launch of 360° Skills Academy’s free summer sleep-away camp. Our goal is to provide at least 100 youth from underserved communities with The Greatest Summer Ever through sports and experiential learning, completely free of charge to their families. Here's how you can help:· We need a squad: We need at least 7 players. This is a highly competitive tournament, and the goal is to win. So refer any players with professional experience and they will win a portion of the $2 million winner-take-all pot.· We need votes: Support the cause by becoming fans of our team and voting as often as possible through June 1. Encourage others to vote by spreading the word throughout your networks. The top 100 fans of the winning team split $200,000.· We need volunteers: Join The Greatest Summer Ever campaign committee to help raise funds, awareness and corporate sponsorship for 360° Skills Academy’s goal of providing once in a lifetime opportunities for underserved youth. 360° Skills Academy is a program of 360° Skills Inc., a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit. For more information on 360° Skills Academy, contact Candice Haynes.
